Learned my teacher is a GM guy!
Who also swears like a sailor.
He drives a 2011 Silverado 2500 with the 6.6 Duramax.
One of the trucks we work on is a 2007 Silverado 2500 Duramax as well.
I don't know anyone in my class though.
I did learn we'll eventually be able to bring our own cars in and fix them! Which means I can fix all the mechanical issues in the van (fuckyeah!)
I'm actually excited to get up and go to school in the morning, so that's good.

Good luck man. Just don't make the same mistake I made and try to work full time while going to school.

Talk to someone, then you'll get an extra set of hands at some point in the future.
I was thinking of going to trade/tech school myself, but decided to go to school here in Indy for Motorsports Engineering instead.

I wouldn't be able to do that anyway, because I still have to attend regular school.

I was going to sign up for a car repair class like that at my school, but my parents talked me out of it.They also work on student's cars. Can you imagine? I was gonna try to describe an imaginary scenario involving my car as a HS mechanical class demo, but I know how much you enjoy coming up with those, so I'll let you think something up.

It's quite funny, my professors in college swore like technicians, not really like sailors, especially a short tempered guy in the third semester.

"What we see here class is an (I don't know what year) A8L with (some sort of V8, no idea the displacement.)
The entire thing's fucked, and we're gonna fix it.
I'm not kidding, the entire thing is COMPLETELY fucked."

You fuckin' wish.
That's like me saying my dad's truck is a 2014 High Country with the 6.2L V8.

Lol yup. 2001, 4.2L,or what that CaddyLac guy would call "a wimpy-ass little European V8".

YEAH MAN, CAUSE 'MURICA CAN MAKE 190 HORSEPOWER OUT OF 4. 3 LITERS.
How about "wimpy ass huge V6 with nowhere near enough power"
Not to mention Chevy made a 4.8L V8 for a while, which is pretty small in GM standards.
He's an idiot and even I want to troll him.
Cause, you know, the first-gen CTS was a world beater. *rolls eyes so hard*

Pfft, my grandfather drives a 2011 Silverado 3500 with the 6.6 Duramax. BOOM!
Seriously that's really cool though, enjoy it!

Well, when you're replacing the Caterastrophy, the bar is pretty low.

"Learned my teacher is a GM guy!"
Better luck next year.

That's, uh, not a problem...
Considering all three cars at my house are made by GM.
